TESTIMONIALS

I have amazing clients! It is with gratitude and awe for who they are and what they have created for themselves, that I share their reflections of how coaching has supported them.

“When I started coaching with Anna Marie, I had no idea that I had some of the negative beliefs and mindsets that I did.
Once
Anna Marie helped me unearth these unhelpful mindsets, I was able to totally let go of them.  I was able to come into my power as a professional and gain a knowing of my competence and abilities that has helped me navigate relationships with my colleagues.  I also used coaching time for some of the smaller details of my life that were hindering both my enjoyment and my productivity such as my messy kid house.  Anna Marie helped me strategize ways to make my current space and busy mom/work life work.  More than anything, though, Anna Marie is a brilliant, compassionate, non - judgmental love-force.
I highly recommend coaching with Anna Marie!” -

“From day to day I was feeling defeated and overwhelmed by life. Anna Marie aptly listened and worked with me to help me see that the fear I had of myself, and my own voice were holding me back from even trying to set goals and work toward those goals. Her integration of art, meditation, asking just the right question, and deep regard for individual diversity, brought forth a new and positive understanding of myself. I am deeply grateful for the experience I had with her.” -K.N.

“Anna Marie is so intentionally thoughtful!
Our coaching together has left a forever impact on me
as I work to
navigate challenges with renewed courage.” - J.D.

“I chose to work with Anna Marie because I wanted to follow through with my goals and stop doubting myself.
Anna Marie’s gentle and expansive demeanor was quite refreshing and calming. She listened carefully and absorbed what I was sharing then offered an insightful and grounded approach to finding tangible steps for changing my habits of self-doubt. Coaching with Anna Marie helped me see that I really can make habit changes even with small tweaks and
reconnected me to remembering that my needs are important.” -Daisy

“At first, I wasn’t sure what life coaching was all about, and it took some time to figure out what I wanted to work on. I decided I wanted to focus on releasing my creativity and finding my way back to the joy of creativity. I was surprised that the coaching process felt very linear and logical at times.

I was amazed at how Anna Marie’s questions allowed me to find my own answers. I felt very supported in the process, and I felt like Anna Marie really listened and heard what I was and wasn’t saying. Her presence is calming. Her insight as an artist, mother, and coach was key to working through my inner challenges.

I often think back to the questions and tools Anna Marie asked and offered during our sessions and these simple phrases come back to me in challenging moments. I use them in everyday life to notice how I am feeling or to reframe negative thoughts. Coaching transformed how I approach my creative time.

Now, I can spend time creating,
without worrying so much about outcomes and this freed me to explore more and make room to try new things! Now, I can be more present with my family, and myself, and I can acknowledge that life is an on-going practice and have compassion for where I am at. It was a lovely experience to sit across the zoom screen and receive coaching from Anna Marie. “ -C.C.

"Anna Marie was recommended to me by a mutual friend. I needed help finding a new direction in my work. I had recently been in a traumatic car accident with my family, and I was very sensitive to what was bringing me fulfillment. I was deeply unsatisfied with my work and wanted to figure out what direction to go. Anna Marie was great, she held a space that was gentle and at the same time took me to the edge of my comfort zone, which opened new possibilities in my thinking. At times, things felt upside down and off balance, but never scary.

From the coaching process, I found the freedom to think about alternative realities and to consider other possibilities. I was able to imagine one or two ways of being different in the world and to connect with how that aligns with my sense of purpose at work.

Soon after our sessions, I went into the busiest time of year for my industry, so I put much of this new thinking in the back of my mind. Nevertheless, as the busy time concluded, I returned to what I had discovered in coaching.  I took bold action and informed my employer I wanted to try different things. In the end that meant I was out of a job, but I knew this was the right thing for me.

I started pursuing other projects. Soon, another company began negotiating with me to help them out. I took what I had discovered was important to me from the coaching sessions with Anna Marie and put that on the table as something that would be essential for me in this new role, the company agreed, and I started a new job where I get to work on some of the issues that fulfill me and are aligned with my sense of purpose." -Kevin
